Teacher: Trevor Rollins

The Resource Room is composed of students who are either Intellectually and/or Physically Challenged. The Resource Room program emphasizes life skills that will assist the student to live independently or semi-independently when they graduate from school. Life skills such as: baking, cooking, personal hygiene, kitchen preparation, washing/drying dishes, and laundry. Students' life skills also include community and school integration. For community integration students will travel to many different field trip locations including the Harrison sand castles, Vancouver Aquarium, bowling, and theaters. Students are also integrated within the school, P.E., Art, Woodwork, Sewing, and Foods. Within the Resource Room program, students work on academic skills to enhance their life skills, printing, reading, math/money, and telling time.
