The Global Awareness team was composed of approximately 30 students last year. Students had an active role in deciding what projects they were interested in and took action to make our community a better place. Being part of Global Awareness is a once a week commitment and we are always looking for more members to join our club. Being a committed member of Global Awareness has in many cases lead to many scholarships and or job offers for graduating members.

Here are some pictures from last years community clean up. The students did an amazing job cleaning up the areas around the school and surrounding streets. You can see how clean the school looked afterward from the pictures. Mrs Much even found a stray duckling on the side of the road which was returned to its natural habitat, Yeah!!!! Many teachers participated including Mr Weinkauf, Mr Keryluik, Mrs Mackenzie, Mrs Robertson and Mrs Much. Great help also from Mrs Oppelt and Mrs Olsen. Thank you all!
